GoPro‘s success raises many desires. The commercial success of this technological gem is obviously not a coincidence . They are at the forefront in all areas : innovation (intrinsic qualities of the product), design (a beautiful object, solid , reliable and easy to use) , marketing (a host compatible with all sports accessories) , advertising (videos made by users who act as advertisements stamped GoPro including Instagram )… Anyway, the list is long and success is just one step in the life of a well thought out product!
The life cycle of any product is subject to the law of growth and decline. In the field of technology, these phases are even shorter. To maintain, research and development is the central department of this type of companies. New entrants have more chances to success in a hyper volatile market, because of the strength of technologies that have the power to change consumer habits, sometimes completely.
It may be the case of the 360 Fly made by EyeSee360! Another piece of technology (see Polaroid C3) inspired by GoPro with all recipes for success thereunder (design, accessories for different inherent in each sport uses…) and especially technology. Indeed, 360Fly, in addition to its ability to shoot in HD, it shoots 360°.
Imagine this camera on a drone! The potential of this technology to 360° can be an excellent way for the emergence of this type of camera. Able to communicate with a smartphone, the 360 Fly is compatible with iOS and Android and allows capturing interactive videos, allowing viewers to control the scene! With 360Fly application, you can shoot, edit and share your content directly to social networks (YouTube , Facebook, Twitter) .
Available between June and July 2014, the price of the 360 Fly has not yet been set but it should be marketed through VOXX international, about 400 and 450 USD .
